About the Artist
Ghanem Hassan is an abstract painter born in Lebanon in 1993, grew up in a region where life is often lived one day at a time, and resilience is not a choice but a necessity for survival. From a young age, Ghanem felt drawn to colors and shapes, using art as a secret escape to cope with the chaos around him. His mother has always been his greatest supporter, even in a world that prioritized stability over dreams.
His paintings are not just abstract compositions; they are visual stories of survival, hope, dreams, love, and life's challenges. Each piece reflects personal struggles, societal expectations, and the constant voice of doubt: "What if it’s not good enough? What if no one understands or accepts it?"
Despite earning two master’s degrees in finance, Ghanem refused to set aside his passion for art. Milan became his new home—a city where art thrives and where he was able to redefine himself. His works have been showcased in prestigious galleries in cities like Milan, New York, London, Brianza, and Athens. With over five solo exhibitions and 20 collective exhibitions, each has been more than a milestone; it stands as proof that raw emotions, challenging experiences, and vulnerability can not only be embraced but also celebrated. Ghanem’s story is not just about art; it is about resilience, transformation, and the courage to tell his truth, even when the world isn’t ready to hear it.
Today, Ghanem’s works are featured on Art Bridger in Hong Kong, a platform connecting artists with collectors and admirers worldwide. For Ghanem, Art Bridger is more than just a place to showcase his work; it symbolizes how far he has come. Through Art Bridger, Ghanem’s art continues to reach new audiences, breaking barriers, redefining narratives, and proving that passion and perseverance can transform pain into beauty and imagination into real impact.
